Description
Wheel stops are one of the many ways railways prevent cars from being shoved or rolling off the end of the track. These are commonly found in industrial sidings and rail yards.
This specific version is ideally suited for HO scale Code 70 or Code 83 and is sold in a set of 4. These are 3D Printed from a detailed model and slide onto the rail.
As with all incredibly fine detail parts, they need to be handled with care! We recommend removing spike heads from your track where they will be located to ensure a smooth over the rail. We have tested these on Micro Engineering track, for rail with a wider head, it may be advised to carefully file the rail head narrower where this part will sit to ensure the bolt details are not overly stressed / broken.
For installation we recommend priming these with Tamiya Primer and painting before removal from the print base. When removed from the base, there may be a small amount of flash located inside (where the rail is intended to sit). Remove this with a sharp hobby knife or very fine tweezers. Use a tiny amount of Gel CA, and slide over the rail.
