If you were looking for the most prototypical coupler on the market, Sergent Engineering couplers were the obvious choice. These couplers featured prototypical sizing, shape, and correctly operating knuckles. Unfortunately Sergent closed up shop and gave their designs out to interested manufacturers.
Inventive models took on the challenge of producing many of these couplers; you may have seen their impressive brass castings of prototype couplers in a variety of types. The quality and operation has been top notch. We are excited to announce we are an official supplier of these amazing couplers!
This package contains 6 pairs (12 couplers) and is ideal for those looking to try a few out before committing the entire fleet. Couplers require minor assembly, though less than the original Sergents.
